Attaining an individual charter requires a continuous demonstration of knowledge, skills and behaviour. Through a combination of qualifications and a consistent record of continuing professional development (CPD) a member can become chartered. Individually Chartered members will need to abide by the Royal Charter, Bye-laws, Regulations, and to uphold the Institute's high standards as published in its Professional Code.
